A trademark is a form of intellectual property that protects your Business by protecting words, brand name, phrases, symbols, logo or designs that distinguish your goods or services from those of others. Owners of trademarks have the exclusive right to use the mark on their goods/services and can protect from misusing it.

Further Trademark is valid for 10 years from the date of filling of application once the registration certificate issued.

Documents Required For Trademark Registration

  1. COLORED IMAGE/ LOGO/WORD/ PHRASE which need to be Trademark.
  2. Power of Attorney (Drafted Given by us)
  3. User affidavit (If the Trademark is already in use)
  4. TM-A Form (Draft given by us)
  5. ID and Address proof of the Applicant.

Trademark Registration


  1. Registration: If no oppositions are filed (or if oppositions are resolved in your favor), your trademark will proceed to registration. You will receive a certificate of registration from the trademark office, granting you exclusive rights to use the mark in connection with the specified goods or services.
  2. Search Report: Firstly, we conduct a trademark search before filing to ensure there are no conflicting marks that could prevent registration.
  3. Filing of Application: After Trademark search, if we found that the word/ logo/phrase, etc. are available for trademark and not conflicting with other marks only then we can proceed else we advise the applicant to suggest new name/word/phrase/logo
  4. Examination: After filing, the trademark office will examine the application to ensure it meets all legal requirements. This includes assessing distinctiveness, similarity to existing marks, and compliance with formalities.
  5. Publication: If your application meets all requirements, it may be published in an official gazette or journal for a specified period (usually for opposition purposes). During this time, third parties who believe they would be harmed by registration of your mark may oppose your application.
  6. Duration and Renewal: Once Registered, the Trademarks typically last for 10 years initially and can be renewed indefinitely as long as they continue to be used and maintained properly.
